Your voice was inspirational to me, and your music soothed my soul. One of the best memories I have was singing your duet with Mariah Carey, "When You Believe" with Gary and Lisa driving to high school. I knew every part, every riff and lick. Thank you for "Preacher's Wife", "Cinderella", and your thousands of hits that encouraged me to even attempt to sing.

Today Jennifer Hudson sang a shortened version of your song, "I Will Always Love You" and it was sheer perfection. It was simple, sweet, and I believe tributed you in ways I know you would've appreciated. Your voice will be missed!
