Taking a moment.

The leaves that once were vibrant and blooming, wilt and float to the ground. The shadows that boogie to the midnight's wind disappear amongst the dark sky's slumber. Fresh branches are weathered from time's impatient gusts of emotions and circling the bark are marks of age and forgiveness. Although the roots seem to remain in tact, the earth often shifts between where the core of the earth meet these snake like nails biting for its life to remain solid. Sometimes, they go tumbling down, or it readjusts and creates a different path. Both -- will -- happen. Seasons change. And people go through seasons of their lives. We all fall down, or remain rooted. We get thrown off our own equilibrium, and pray that the next day will be better.

This is me. Praying!
